John is a partner in the Oklahoma City office. His practice centers on complex civil litigation matters of all types, but with a particular focus on insurance coverage disputes, commercial litigation and appellate practice.

John began his career while attending law school at the New York University School of Law from 2002-2005, attaining internship and summer associate positions with Chadbourne & Parke (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and Jones Day in New York City. Upon graduation in the top third of his class from NYU Law in 2005, he accepted an associate attorney position with Jones Day, where he remained until 2010.

In 2010, John returned to his home state of Oklahoma, where his family resides and where he had graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma in 2002. In 2010 he began as an associate attorney with Pierce Couch and in 2015 accepted a partnership at the firm. His clients include national and regional companies as well as multiple insurance carriers. He has litigated numerous matters in Oklahoma State and Federal District Courts and before administrative agencies. He also has an active practice at the appellate level.

Mr. Lennon lives in Oklahoma City with his wife Kelsey and their two dogs. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, USLAW, and DRI. He has taught a seminar and spoken on industry topics before the NBI and at USLAW events. He is admitted in all district and appellate state courts in the states of Oklahoma and New York, all federal U.S. District Courts situated in Oklahoma, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
