Kadie was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised in Edmond. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration, with a Minor in Sociology, from the University of Oklahoma. After completing her undergraduate studies, Kadie attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

While at OU Law, Kadie participated in the Victim Advocacy Program, Health Law Student Association, and OUTLaw. She served as the Lead Fellow for the Inasmuch Foundation Community Fellowship at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma. Additionally, Kadie externed at Legal Council for Health Justice through the Public Interest Law Initiative in Chicago, Illinois. During her final year of law school, Kadie interned for SSM Health – Oklahoma’s General Counsel.
