Defense Verdict

Pierce Couch partners Hailey Hopper and Jessica Dark recently tried a premises liability matter on behalf of Penn Square Mall, Simon Management Associates and Interstate Cleaning Company in Oklahoma County before Judge Sheila Stinson. Plaintiff alleged that the cleaning company and the mall management failed to inspect and maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition, causing the Plaintiff to slip and fall. After a two and a half day trial and a jury demand of $147,000, the jury returned a defense verdict.
