Recent Trials/Successes
Sheila Jessee recently prevailed on a Motion to Dismiss a wrongful death action that was brought against her clients, 4 physicians. The Motion to Dismiss was filed on the basis that the Plaintiffs did not have standing to prosecute a wrongful death action and lapse of the Statute of Limitations against 3 of the 4 physicians. The Motion to Dismiss was granted on behalf of all 4 of the physicians. This is the second dismissal she obtained, and Plaintiffs are barred from bringing another wrongful death action.
